Leslie Nielsen

Well, another farewell to a great person. Leslie Nielsen passed away last night due to pneumonia. Aged 84. Rest in Peace. One of my heroes if not anyone else’s. He inspired us to remake the Police Squad series for YouTube. We are going to carry on with our production in memory of him. A true comedic actor, Shirley nobody can beat that!

Welcome back!

Hi everyone, welcome back I guess. I have been really bad at posting lately, but I will try more in the future. I really haven’t been well. Slowly getting better.

It’s snowing this morning, they did say that Britain was going to get large amounts of snow over the next few weeks. Saying that, they actually said that we was going to get loads of snow in early September but when did that ever happen. Still, its really nice to see the whiteness, just makes you want to go out there and have a good time. Not me, I will be indoors close to deaths door. Sorry for this post being so self absorbed. Actually, the snow could mean that we will be getting some on the blog soon. Yeh, remember last year, our blog was decorated by falling snowflakes. We could do that again, wouldn’t that be nice.

Who’s been watching ‘I’m a Celebrity’? I have, love that show. One thing I don’t get though is this. Why does X-Factor, the worlds crappiest program, last all year round but all the good shows never last. We just know what is going to happen. Some no-talent tosspot will win the cheap-ass show and infect the music charts as christmas number 1. I think last years plan was awesome, remember when Rage against the machines won? “Welcome to X-Factor 2010”, what ever happened to last years winner? Oh yeah, there were multiple winners last year because the show just never f***** ends! Just wait, as soon as the X-Factor 2010 finishes, X-Factor 2011 will start. They seem to think that there is one series each year but there can’t be. It ruins TV and should be axed. I’m fed up of these stupid second-best nobs who wangle their way into the charts. Another thing I hate about the X-Factor is the flamin judges. Notice anything they all have in common? Louis Walsh – Welsh, Danni Minogue – Ausie, Cheryl Cole – Jordy, Simon Cowel – British Homosexual! They all have annoying accents! They say its Britains number 1 show, but there is hardly any British people on there!!!! I rest my case. There is plenty more that I could argue about, but I can’t be assed. I think Wagner’s voice is enough to silence a room, he fails.

David and Dania’s new act

I thought this day would come. If you don’t know who I am talking about then let me briefly explain. David and Dania are Quick Change artists which means that they can change costumes within seconds. From a feathered frock to a bright yellow dress, then from a small green dress to a purple frock, then the finale, a white wedding gown. All of these changes are disguised by fabric pods, hoops, sheets and confetti around the stage. It is truly magical. I have been obsessed with their act for years now and I’ve just noticed that they have made a new one. At first I thought they were joking, but it turned out to be the start of something new. They’ve based their new act on clothes from the 60’s and 70’s and even have music from that era. To be honest I still prefer their old one. This is the video from yesterday’s episode of Americas got Talent as they return for the second time since being on the show in 2006.

Although this act is still as amazing as the previous one regardless of the magic tricks scattered throughout the changes, I will definitely miss the old one. They gave us a preview of things to come when they performed at a halftime act this summer but in a more recent video they were back to their old routine. We all have our own opinions but for me I say keep this one for tv, use the old one for halftime performances.

I saw Toy Story 3

Hello everyone, time for yet another update. I have been real busy latley and haven’t had time. I just want to say that I’ve watched Toy Story 3 and thought is was amazing. It’s one of those films which would either be absolutley brilliant or utterly crap. I think it worked out pretty well. I enjoyed the story, expecially at the beginning. If you anjoyed the first two films then definetly watch this one. I would have to watch it a few more times to compare ratings with the other two but I think it is still pretty good. It needs to get a bit more of a classic though to make it into the ‘Must see before you die’ category.

Adobe Creative Suite 4 Master Collection

So today I got the Adobe Creative Suite set. It looks really promising, especially the editing tools it comes with. It includes Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and loads more. It’s taken a huge chunk out of my storage space but it is definitely worth it. As we speak I am making a quick simple video in Premiere Pro for the ‘Action Station’ channel on YouTube. Since 4t2 was terminated in the beginning of May we had to take over their kids show. And this will be the first video ever made by me using Premiere Pro. I am also going to look in to tutorials on After Effects which will become quite useful when it comes to making the Police Squad episodes for ‘In your Face productions’.

 

I strongly recommend getting this set, it has all you need for video creating and publishing, video effects, graphics designing, interactive media, website creation and more.
